Mmmmm...pineapples sound delightful! Thanks y'all! Currently indulging in homemade bread and butter...and no sleep, apparently. :-/

That's really interesting.  When DP was in a skiing accident he suddenly craved pineapple.  Later we read it was good for bone growth--- maybe you're going to have a strong boned little one :)

Interesting, I assumed my pineapple craving had something to do with my heartburn.

I have been so into dairy the last few weeks. I'm sure it's due to bone growth. Cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese. Also grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. I am just eating a ton right now and trying to keep up my protein intake. I made ham and bean soup and that's been good but gives me heartburn.

My favorite dish is raw zucchini "pasta" with raw tomato sauce.  It's delicious and so healthy.  I slice up some zucchini with my mandoline, so the slices are paper thin.  Then in my mini food processor, I add 1-2 tomatoes, a clove of garlic, fresh basil if I have it (or a scoop of pesto), some olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and sundried tomatoes are optional.  Then I blend that up and dump it on top of the zucchini.  It is very good and pretty filling for being only veggies.

that being said, I had chile rellenos for lunch...no so healthy, but very tasty.  I need to gt back to whole foods for more organic zucchini,

That sounds really good!  I'd like to try making more raw dishes.

Yes everything gives me heartburn!! Grrr! But pineapples are cold are juicy and hit the spot! Oh and the sweetness is perfect! I've taken to buying and drinking just the juice as well! And bone growth? Very interesting, hoping for a boy this time and maybe he wants to be strong lol idk

Ugh I just joined the heartburn club (wait, do we have one yet?).  Does the pineapple help?  I've gotta go get some papaya...

Pineapple here too. yummy.gif  I ate 8 whole pineapples in 9 days when I was pregnant with DS... don't think it'll be quite that intense this time though.

I'm enjoying quite a few fruits right now, pears, apples, strawberries, and really looking forward to blueberries.
