Moses and Envy were, I hate to say it, improvements over the original Linoleum (when she didn't know there was two, although she kept telling me there were two or five babies in my tummy). She asked me what the floor in the kitchen was and there it was, the baby name. 

Can't blame a child for wanting a cat, I guess.

That's crazy!  My DS came up to me (must've been a couple of days after conception) and said, "Mama, I'm gonna have a baby sister soon!"  He's convinced it is a girl.  He told me today that he wants to name her Roberto White Wendy.  He told me to stop looking at other names, that was it.  I don't know about that.

My kids started asking me more about a baby after I got pg but before they knew, but none outright predicted it. They all want another girl but it's also a desire, not intuition. So we'll see! I had a clear dream of having a boy before I knew, then got my bfp when I woke up. But I just can't be sure now!

Wow, yes, DS called her that for awhile and then gave up and started calling her by her given name.  That's amazing that he has 3 names for her.

I'm not going to find out the sex before the birth but when we first told DD she suggested "Elliot" or "Crocodile" for names. (A friend just named her 2nd son Elliot so I'm sure that's where that came from)

I am also most likely going to wait. We have with all but the first. And we don't seem to make boys, so why bother looking

Hehe.

5 more days here.  So excited to see this little one.  I keep thinking were going to be surprised with a boy.  Most of the clothes MIL got from the mom to mom sale are boyish, so maybe that's a sign.

Carmen, I think Elliot/Eliot is currently a popular name for a boy or a girl. There was a lady in my last DDc who named her daughter Elliot Bell. I think she said it was the pen name of an author she liked who wanted to conceal being a woman. I thought that was so pretty!

I also love Elliot for a boy and have fond memories of watching E.T. all the time as a kid with sweet Elliot!

But my DH has vetoed Elliot, so...yeah.

:D  Got my appointment set up for April 2!!  I'm excited!  No children allowed, so I guess it'll be a nice "date" for DH and I. ;)  Hopefully my friend can watch the kids for me!  Just over 2 weeks! :D  I'll be 19w3d, so hopefully baby will be well enough developed to see everything we need to!

19 weeks  + should be plenty late for a good anatomy scan. My daughter's was at 18 weeks and it was enough for all the needed measurements.

I have an u/s next week, Wed. but it's not an anatomy scan. We might find out genders if babies cooperate, if not, maybe at 22 weeks which is my anatomy scan.

Bah going to have to reschedule.  I forgot my friend's son's preschool starts at noon on T/Th/F, so if I want "free" childcare, I need to pick a M or W...  Waiting to hear what dates would work for her in April and then I'll call back and reschedule.  Though if we push to the third week of April, I'll just find out when my parents are going to be here and schedule it then. :p

Moved it to the 3rd instead. :)  So 19w4d.  I'm only anxious because at the hospital I started all three of my other pregnancies at, they would not do the ultrasound before 20 weeks because they had too many that they couldn't get what they needed and had to have them come back. :(  I know a lot of people have them before 20 weeks, it's just not my experience!

I had my big US yesterday and saw the girl parts. It seemed more real that the results of the genetic tests. On a weird note, the ultrasound was painful, the lady was pressing really hard on my belly. I guess baby was facing back and cuddling with the placenta and it was hard to get measurements. Well after I spotted for a couple of hours. It went away and the baby is still moving plenty- but it was strange.

I find that ultrasounds tend to hurt a lot more when I'm having a lot of BHs too...
