Subscribing to forum help

I want to be able to subscribe to the main "Parenting" forum without all the subforums popping up in my subscriptions.

Can I do this?  I've avoided subscribing in the past because I get inundated with threads that have no relevance for me, but then I miss the threads on the main forum.

As far as I know, subscribing to the main Parenting forum also subscribes you to its subforums without option to exclude them. It would make more sense to have each set up as a separate subscription. I'll see where our development plans are for the platform to separate them as individual subscriptions
