How to thank my OB

Assuming my twin unmedicated natural childbirth happens as planned, I would like to thank the OB for being open to some things that she wasn't super comfortable with. (vaginal twins, intermittent monitoring, no iv, ect)

She's a young OB, I think even younger than me. I'm hoping this birth will open her to helping more women looking for natural childbirth with multiples!

What is a nice thing to send after the birth? Had planned to send a little note explaining just how much that birth meant to me. That a "healthy baby & healthy mom" aren't the only important things about birth - the birth is extremely important! Flowers seem a bit silly, and they fade too quickly. Would like something that lasts, something that will remind her that the best thing she can do is encourage birth to happen naturally!

A nice pic of the twins sent along with the note.

I wrote my midwife a letter explaining how much her support meant as I went through a miscarriage. She told me it meant the world to her and she actually put it up in her office.

I think a sincere, from the heart letter is the best gift in this situation...and of course, a photo! Maybe get a photo of her with you and the twins.

My doctor has a couple framed pics her patients gave her sitting in her waiting room, and a sweet note from a child that she delivered a number of years ago.

A coffee card or a nice travel mug? Maybe a mug where you can design the insert and put a pic of your twins and a nice quote about childbirth. I think docs/mws don't often get the thanks they deserve for leaving their beds and families at all hours to join us for our births. Something small to thank her for that might be nice.

I got my MW a small prism for her office. I thought it would be a nice way to perk the place up and fill the room with light and rainbows for her and all her future preggos to enjoy.
