visceral manipulation for breech babies?

Has anyone ever heard or tried visceral manipulation for flipping breech babies?

In my search for a Webster chiro, I found one that does it but also finds success with this other method. I went ahead and made an appointment but am looking for others' experiences.

Both my babies are breech, with A's butt stuck in my pelvis for the past 4+ weeks :(

I haven't heard of this technique. My baby was breech and I was adjusted with the Webster technique and did acupuncture and moxibustion, and he turned. I already know that acupuncture is extremely effective for me, so I definitely think that helped. The Webster technique helped a lot, too, but it probably can't hurt to do other things either. Good luck!!!

Have you tried the suggested stretches and positions on spinningbabies.com? Idk how they work for twins but the few times this LO has flipped breech as soon as I did the stretches she flipped back. Especially the inversion pose. Good luck!

Thanks ladies! Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I've been busy at work and researching all my options to get these babies to flip.

I had the 'visceral manipulation' and it sounds way more severe than it is - it's like a light pressure on points of your body to help release tension on the ligaments (I think that's right?) that hold your uterus to your pelvis. It's a similar idea to the Webster Technique, which works on two of these ligaments to get things aligned. So we'll see. I had a NST today and the nurse wasn't too optimistic about either flipping - with Baby A frank breech and Baby B transverse over top of him. *sigh*

Bummer that they haven't flipped. But that's great that the manipulation was a gentle process. Sometimes less is more. And things could always happen at the last minute.
