Any recommendations for treat or puzzle toys for dogs? We have a 6 mo old lab mix ( ~30 lbs). He really likes the buster cube, but I wanted to get him something else to mix it up a little for him.
Other treat/puzzle toys for dogs?
I like the "tricky treat ball" cause it's a rubbery type of material and it's round, both of which make it less noisy, especially for my dog who likes to pick it up and drop it when the treats are coming out too slow. It looks like this: http://www.omegapaw.com/products/tricky-treat-ball.html
The "busy buddy - waggle" has also been a great hit, it looks a bit like a dumbbell and it amuses our dog endlessly. Here's a link to what it looks like: http://www.dogtrainingproducts.com.au/interactive-dog-toys/128-busy-buddy-waggle.html
And the classic, Kong. It can be as easy or tough to get treats out as you want. Just biscuits or kibble are easy, smearing PB or liverwurst on the inside is good for licking it out, or if you get something that can be rolled up (a slice of meat or cheese) and unroll it so it sticks to the inside of the walls it can really occupy them for a long time.
We've got a lot of these toys, these three are our favourites for our always-into-something busy dog!
