Yes congrats! Wow they really do come in waves? I am so darn excited to see what we are having this Friday OMG can't wait!

Found out today that we are having a GIRL!! I'm pretty excited! My intuition was leaning in that direction, but it wasn't super strong, so I wasn't sure. We had the ultrasound tech write it down for us, and then we gave the envelope to a friend who got some pink helium-filled balloons and shut them into a box for us. I didn't want my older son to miss school to attend the scan, but I also didn't want him to miss out on finding out when we did. So we all opened the box together and took a video of it to share with our friends and families. smile.gif

Here's a picture from after we opened the box.

Boy!

Just got back from our 20 week anatomy scan and we are definitely having a boy!!! Looks like he's going to have nice long legs like his daddy:) Measuring ahead but we're sticking with the original due date of 9/17. They said everything looks great, was so exciting to see him moving like crazy! My placenta is anterior left lateral which probably explains why it's taken so long to feel him move. I have felt several taps/kicks the past few mornings when I'm still and focused and even DH felt him which was really awesome:)

Congrats, Suzie!!! That is so so exciting!!! We have our 20 week u/s on the 15th and we'll find out for sure the sex, though they told us early on they are 80% sure it's a girl. I am so happy for you and your husband!! Are you both tall? I am 5'7 and my husband is 6'3 so we're anticipating having a long, skinny baby just like us! Ha!

Thanks Sarah:) We're pretty darn excited!! It sounds like we're like you guys, I'm 5'8 and DH is 6'2. I wonder if being taller has any bearing on the measuring ahead thing because we've been measuring about a week or more ahead at every u/s... One measurement yesterday even showed size as 22 wks+1 day, although I can't remember which one. So far my midwives have kept my original due date but it will be interesting to see if they change their minds at my appointment next week (but I doubt it as they say that u/s can vary a week or so either way). It will be fun for you guys to find out for sure on the 15th but how cool to be 80% sure so early! I'll be keeping watch for your update:)

I cannot BELIEVE this but... I'm on team pink! I'm sort of shocked and a little disappointed. Even though I am REALLY happy to have a sister for my DD (I have 2 and they are my BFFs!) I sort of wanted a boy! Who knew!

I am ecstatic though don't get me wrong! Lol hormones...

I should be caught up on the list so far, but if anyone adds any more I'm happy to continue to update it!  I have also added the total number in each category as currently reported in parentheses just in case anyone wants to know!

By the way, if you see your name under the bottom of your respective "team" list, it is because I do not know your EDD, either due to you not providing it or me being a dolt and not seeing it either in your comment or signature.  Either way, if you want it added, just message me or comment here and I will fix it.
