Switching out carseat covers

hi mamas! 

Someone gave us a free Britax seat, but we discovered it was expired.  We then got two new carseats. I saved the Britax cover though because it looked so cozy. We haven't switched it out with either of the seats (neither are Britax) but Im wondering if all the holes line up with the belts correctly, is it ok to replace one of the not so cozy covers with this Brtiax cover? 

What do y'all think?

A big no no. Too much potential for interfering with safety.

Probably stand a good chance of making some money by selling the cover.

No, you can't use a Britax cover on a non-Britax seat (or any other mix-and-match combinations).
