I have been super busy this week! I took an inventory of all the food in the house, and I am planning on using it up as much as possible, and then do a HUGE grocery buying, freezer meal prepping about the middle of June. My husband and I were convinced the baby was going to be here last week, because of the low fluid scare, and I absolutely freaked out by the amount of things I have not gotten to yet. I ordered his car seat, and feel a little bit better about it now. We have someone coming out to do our yard this year, a/c is being installed next week and my hubby is getting an estimate on getting a fence put up and a patio poured at the end of the week.
Our neighbors are super frustrating. They have 2 dogs, but they do not control them. They will just let them out, and let them in our yard and poop all over the place. They don't pick it up, and we have talked to them many times. Last fall I was so fed up, I called animal control on them. My husband and I used to sit on a blanket in our yard, with our dog tied up, and we could not do it all of last summer because there was poop, or left over poop, everywhere! and it STANK! So when the animal control guy came, he must have told them that it is not acceptable and bla bla bla. They were going to put up a fence. Now they finally put up a fence, but they put it in a weird spot. When they come out of their house, they have to bring the dogs into the fenced in area. Which, they don't put them on leashes for that and when we were grilling yesterday, their dogs ran right up to me and one of them jumped with their paws on my belly. They are friendly, but REALLY?!?! WTH!!
So, we decided we will put up a fence where our property ends. Which is hugging their driveway basically. I think the reason they did not put the fence there, is because they like to park their cars in our yard. On of the cars is always half on our grass. We ask them no tot do this, but they keep doing it. I don't think they realized how small their property was when they bought it. But does that entitle them to use ours with such disrespect? It is just so frustrating!
Sorry for the rant, but my nesting instinct this week has had me really really just wanting to get the fence up there!
