"Crunchy" pediatrician near Redmond, WA that is not an N.D?

Hi everyone! I just recently joined Mothering and I am finding that I need some help.  I am currently pregnant and am due next month.  We had found a pediatrician we were really happy with but then our insurance informed us that it would not cover a naturopathic doctor as a primary care provider (they only accept them as specialists).  I am having a hard time nailing one down that is nearby.  We are planning to not circumcise and are considering delaying or opting out of some vaccines.  I would like to try a holistic approach to medical issues before jumping straight to antibiotics.  The names I have come across in my searching are Donna Zimburean at Pediatric Associates of Totem Lake and Cynthia Keller at Redmond Pediatrics.  However, Dr. Keller is not accepting new patients at this time.  I have also read good things about The Kids Clinic in Seattle, but it is just a little too far to drive especially with traffic.  Does anyone happen to have any recommendations? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am very happy with Dr Stephen j. Shlafer. He is in Mill Creek. He often posts articles regarding vaccines and side effects right in his office we have never been pressured to do vaccines and he's willing to have a real conversation about vaccines with you.

We see Dr. Tracie O'Neill at the Pine Lake Pediatric Associates (Sammamish/Issaquah area). She's happy to do whatever schedule you want - we do Dr. Sears and its never been an issue. She's a little handsy with the uncircumcised penis, but nothing harmful. She's very good about holistic stuff. I've never had her jump to formula/medicine/specialists on anything. Very pro-breastfeeding and supportive. I'd say she's fairly laidback. If you're confident in your decisions, she will support you!

No specific recommendations, but the training and approach for nurse practitioners (ARNP) tends to be more holistic than MDs.  Nurses are trained in western medicine, but are taught to look at the whole person/life and what the humans needs are, not just pathophysiology.  Seattle U and Bastyr even have a partnership where you can earn a ND and ARNP at the same time.  So if you don't find an MD you love, try an ARNP.

Dr. Chattra at Pediatric Associates Redmond Ridge. He's never done more than look at my intact boys. :-) No problem with not vaxing, co-sleeping, on-demand nursing, baby wearing ... Nothing. He spent some time in Thailand, so maybe that wore the edges off. Lol
