Week 23 and even more throwing up....seriously enough already

I can not stop vomiting! And if I stop vomiting I start having such bad heart burn it makes me vomit. Then I get all the fun stuff that comes with vomiting....dizzy spells, exhaustion, weakness.

Baby #4 I know you're in there. You're kicking and spazzing out enough to tell me that so how about you lay off just a bit with the stomach issues?

Am I the only one fighting this non-winning battle???

I'm on dicletan(sp way off) and it got so bad I went to the hospital last night and got iv and iv gravol. I'm not feeling great now. But not as run down as yest. The midwives gave a call to the o.b and he's going to see me and maybe give me something stronger. Boo greensad.gif

I'm on diclectin as well, it's not available in the US though. I've got it down to once every two weeks.

I'm on 3 different medications and still throwing up once or twice a day. Which is manageable. I go to get iv fluids once every couple of weeks (i was going once a week during the forst trimester) and on that alays helps. But the heart burn just started happening too and that is awful! I'm not sure what to do about that!

Sorry you're feeling so rough, mama! It's a good thing these babes are worth it, eh?

Big hugs to you mamas!! I'm just easily exhausted and my back starts hurting very easily so I have to limit how much I am on my feet. I have it relatively easy. My 2 year old and I seem to be catching every bug under the sun though. We just got through a bad stomach bug with vomiting and diarrhea, were healthy for a week and now she's got a fever again. Who else is ready for warm days, sunshine and the outdoors? I'm so sick of being sick!!

I'm taking 2 different types of heart burn meds, diclectan and gravol ginger constantly. Now my youngest daughter has an ear infection, chest infection and pneumonia. Honestly didn't know how we'd survive with-out OHIP covering the drs/midwives and hospital trips dizzy.gif

Oh yeah! OHIP rocks. I can't imagine what it's like to live without provincial health insurance. My heart goes out to all the mamas having to pay out of pocket for needed medical attention.
