This is my 5th full term pregnancy. I'm 38 weeks. Baby is head down and I had an appointment today and everything looked fine.
I had a chiropractor appointment today as well. After my adjustment, now every time the baby moves kicks or turns it feels like he's pushing right on my urethra. It's kind of a sharp pain and it hurts. It's not associated with BH contractions or anything but with movement. It makes me just want to squat or sit backwards on a chair...it's still uncomfortable that way but it does relieve it some. I don't necessarily feel that much "pressure" down low just the sharper pains when he moves.
I don't remember this at all with any of my last full term pregnancies (my most recent one was 2 1/2 years ago). My last birth was a very quick homebirth (midwife missed it) and the baby didn't really engage until right before birth. And my other births were c/s.
Thoughts? I feel like an idiot because I don't remember what it was like towards the end with my last one. Thanks for helping!
