Spinoff "Worry" Post....what are you excited about? - Page 2

Great thread!

I have to admit, I haven't been super excited about this pregnancy and baby. Not in the ways I was with my planned ones. But I AM excited to see my two older kids with their own little baby. They both love to look at and talk to babies we see in strollers and such, so they're going to love having one of their own! (Well, not all of the time, I'm sure, but they're both pretty excited, so that makes me more excited.)

I think (hope) my excitement will build as the pregnancy continues. Once I get over this sickness, and once I get to "see" the baby in an ultrasound and feel the baby move around for sure, I'll get there. smile.gif

Just cause I feel like sharing, here's a picture of my fiance with his cousin's 2 month old when we all took a trip to India last Febbruary. His mom would pass him off to my fiance so she could finally get some breakfast and the baby would just settle into the football hold and eventually fall asleep.

That's a darling photo.  He looks like he's going to be a great dad.

Ditto this!!!! I have 2 children with my ex but my kids love my fiancé so much that on their own they started calling him dad. We even talked about the meaning in depth and they told me straight out that it was the correct name for him orngbiggrin.gif They call their bio father "daddy" so we don't have confusions in conversations

Awwwwwww! love.gif Thanks for sharing that.

I gotta say, my husband was so not a baby person before we had kids. Not that he didn't like them, mind you. He was just not used to them and very awkward around them. After we had our first, though, he is just a sap for babies. It's adorable!
