My hubby has been home on spring break, and I have just taken to distracting him from all the grading he has to do (he is a teacher). For some reason, friends seem to be steering clear - i guess to give me space. But I am trying to do fun/relaxing stuff, like going to my favourite café, or going out after hours for a late night ice cream in appreciation that in a few days or weeks I won't be able to just leave the house at will in the evening. Going to prenatal yoga at my YMCA a few times a week has been great, too.
But I do have a lot of baby preparations to finish still and I guess I am procrastinating a lot, which makes me thankful he didn't come early! Fortunately I am not yet in the "get the baby out of me" mode yet! I like being pregnant, despite the swollen feet and stuff like that, but I do feel that the anticipation is totally there all the time!
Now I am going to start knitting a blanket. I heard having knitting in the few weeks after the baby is born is a good thing.
