I got a good deal on baby clothes at Kohl's online yesterday. I bought bought 11 outfits (and most have a second onsie or shirt to match the same shorts or pants--so it's really more than that) in sizes 3 months and 6 months. I assume from my previous babies that we will skip right over newborn size (my last baby was 10lb 11oz and each has been bigger than the last.)
If you're interested in buying new clothes, here are some discount promo codes (good through at least today, I think):
"jellybean" = 30% off everything
"kids15" = 15% of kids clothes or shoes and is good in combination with the above code (although does not apply to clearance or certain sale items)
There are also free shipping codes available if you search for them. You automatically get free shipping with a certain purchase amount (that I reached.) You can only enter 2 promo codes.
You may have to use a Kohl's credit card to make the purchase for these promo codes to apply.
I also go through ebates.com and will get 6% cash back.
They also give you $10 Kohl's cash for every $50 spent.
So my 11 outfits (and probably 9 extra pieces) and a pair of yoga pants ($15.50) for me added up to $100+$7 tax. I got $20 Kohl's cash to spend on whatever I want starting tomorrow. And I will get $6 cash back next time ebates sends out the checks (quarterly.) Pretty good I think. All the outfits I bought are Carter's brand. All had multiple pieces. The most expensive outfit I bought (other than my yoga pants) was a cute woven plaid shortall with a matching sun hat for $11--my splurge.
Did I mention yet that I finished all the kids closets last weekend? I still have to sort through my boys' dressers, but I am so excited to have the closets organized and I can't wait to receive these little baby clothes now and hang them up!
