2 Q's Bread machine and what to eat with a can of chili

My first question, my bread machine rocks and bangs against the sides when it's making the dough, anyone have this happen and know how to fix it? I can't seem to secure it again.

 

Second, I have very little food in the house and it has to last until the 5th. I have a can of chili that I was going to mix in with mac & cheese (don't judge, I had to make the most of $30) but we did it the other day and it wasn't good enough to do again and it didn't go as far as I wanted. What can I do with the can of chili to make it go further? Any ideas, at the very least I can use it as a starting point.

The bread machine question I can't help with.

 

Here's my suggestions for the chili:

 

A chili casserole-chili/add extra veggies and top with a corn bread topping or dumplings

Burritoes or quesadillas

Chili tarts-little mini chili quiches with melted cheese on top

Tortilla casserole

 

If you *really* want to stretch it I would turn it into soup. Sautee some onions/garlic or whatever you have on hand you can spare and add diced veggies either fresh or frozen. The chili and cooked mac noodles and top with the cheese if needed.

Well, my fiance opened the can of chili because he didn't know any better lol oh well, chili dogs it is. His schedule changed and now he has the whole week off (ugghhh) so we're going to go hang out at my moms for a couple of days because she'll feed us. lol That's not horrible, right?

Hello, iPhone three different types of bread machines over the last 21 years. The only time my bread machines acted the way yours is doing, is because there was not enough liquid. If you have any further questions about using a bread machine, don't hesitate to leave me a private message good luck
