Me too! I feel like I was kidnapped and given a crazy boob job. I just keep turfing things from my wardrobe that won't fit over my head anymore.

I have hemorrhoids so bad i want to cry/scream. My 6 week follow-up appointment was scheduled for the 2nd, but was rescheduled for the 8th since my doctor had her baby that day. I just want to know what's going on down there. Any mamas want to tell me what to expect at my follow up visit? Im bummed i wont see my doctor, plus i wanted to show her my beautiful girl. Now i'm seeing some NP.

Kb- I got the big H when dd1 was born and they have got worse with each baby. I have to say that usually after a few months (3-4) after the birth they are healed up and only come back with pregnancy and then get real bad again after baby. Mine are acting up because I am not moving things along every day then the poo is harder when it does come out.

Not really advice, just my expirience. Good luck.

I just has my 6 week pp appointment yesterday. I've been having a lot of pain during every BM since birth, so I mentioned it and my doctor checked me out to announce that it's "probably just some leftover H", gave me a prescription for some cream and sent me on my merry way, so I wouldn't hold out much hope for help in that department. I guess it's just a matter of waiting it out? I don't feel them down there if I try and the doctor wasn't able to see anything but it's seriously like having a mini baby every single time - I have to grip on to the sink edge just to keep from making pain noises.

On a less shitty note (ba dum bum!), I have lost 32lbs and I'm cleared for any kind of activities so I did some exercise stuff and yoga this morning. Yoga is a little less peaceful when you have to blast Florence and the Machine, but it's the only way I can put Mila down where she (usually) won't cry.

Hemorrhoids... Try a product called hemorr-ice if you are okay with the idea of sticking something up there.  I had to order mine, couldn't find it locally.

its basically an ice pack for your rectum that you can wash and reuse.  It is kind of pricey for what it is, but I'd pay just about anything to heal hemmies and not have to worry that surgery is in my future.

I think we might be getting over the unexplainable crying at night phase but it's too soon to say.  We had 2 good nights in a row and then Freya (2months old!) got the cold that we've all been fighting for almost 2 weeks now.  So she's been miserable day and night.  Today she's finally catching up on some sleep and I finally got some laundry put away.

until she is all well I can't go to town because it's an elevation drop of 3000 ft. and if any of us are congested the drive down gives us earaches.  So between the boys and I being sick and now her, I feel like I've been home for ages.  And I need groceries (not to mention some social time for me!!).  Hopefully she'll get over it quicker than we did.

I'm having the same issue right now with BMs. I don't have Hs but have been really constipated the past week or two and when I do go its super painful like you described Teles. Even prune juice isn't cutting it this time. That usually worked when I was pregnant.

We have colds here too. How do you get baby to bfeed when they are congested? Seems so hard for her greensad.gif

I have the nose-Freda or however it's spelled and that works well. A nice steamy bathroom helps to loosen it up before suctioning it, too. DH usually showers with her at night and I suction her nose while she's in there with him. I do find that I can't nurse her lying down at all when she's congested. So we're back to sitting up to nurse at night and her sleeping on my chest (we had moved on to her lying next to me before this cold) with my body propped up at an incline so her head is elevated.

Thanks! I have a suction bulb but can't get much out with it. Her nose is so tiny. We are also sleeping like that. I'll have to try the shower and steam.

do you have one of the tiny suction bulbs?  I have one I got in a little kit and it is way smaller.  Also, my doc said saline rinse is a good way to loosen the mucus before suctioning.  It makes them so mad though.  DS has a bad cold (doc said it may be RSV.... but we are past the scary 72 hour mark, so no reason to test), he doesn't have sticky mucus, it is all runny.....

Yeah it came in a little first aid kit but I'm not sure how small it is compared to others , it's the first one I've seen. Will ask my MW today since we have our 6 week appt this aft.

I hate doing things that make her mad lol

i have a friend who tried everything and finally concluded that Beaba makes the best snot sucker by far. It's battery operated and a bit pricy but it might be what you need. Good luck!!!

we have the nosefreida or whatever, and naomi actually likes it. such a silly girl

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll have to look around and see if I can find a better one today. It's so hard watching her try and eat and then she can't catch her breath so I take her off and she gets so upset!! Hoping this cold wont last too much longer.

anyone having the massive hair loss yet?  mine started a few days ago... I hate it since i already have thin hair and cant afford to lose any more.... DS has it wrapped in his hands and fingers... :(

I've totally been losing my hair! I have alopecea areata which normally causes hair loss, but it pretty much remitted itself during pregnancy. Now it's back with a vengeance! Noticed it while giving Margot a bath. My hair was floating in her bath water. Ick.
