Im located in coastal NH, so not too far from you.

It was quite the challenge for us to find a non-vaxx friendly doctor for my children . We finally found one (there arn't many in my area so we have to travel about a half hour, but it's worth it). They are located in Newington (right next to Portsmouth). It may be a bit of a hike for you but totally worth it if you find you are having a challenge. They are called "Whole Life Health Care". The one provider we see if very open about her opinion on vaccinating (not intrusive, judgemental, cold, or pushy but if you ask her of her opinion she will be open and explain exactly why she thinks what she does. Some vaccines she doesn't agree with, others she does, but she never ever pushes any vaccines on you. She always listens to my concerns and questions. She also doesn't grill you if you decide not to vaccinate. If you dont vax she is supportive of that even if she doesn't necessarily agree with it. You will never be made to feel less or pressured. If you were to selectively vaccinate she is fine with that too. Ive enjoyed my experience thus far, which is amazing bc ive been tormented from other local peds (Dover Peds, Rochester Peds, amongst others). They make you out to be this horrible wicked mother for not vaccinating, but i never once was made to feel that way at Whole Life Health Care.

I too had similar experiences from the same pediatrics and then some. I moved away for a few years and had a great experience with a non vax friendly doctor in MA. Although, I don't agree with vaccinating, I do feel strong armed to do so, and my now 4 year old daughter will be entering preschool and will need them to enter. She let me selectively vaccinate and educated me on what vax were important, not needed and which ones she did without personally when it came to her kids. I've moved back to NH, seacoast area, and am now, once again faced with choosing a non vax friendly doctor. I heard about Portsmouth Pediatrics being non vax friendly but that was from a forum a few years back, but am interested in checking out Whole life health care. Which doctor do you see? Are they good for pediatrics as I do have younger children too? Thanks.

Dr Anne Barry of derry medical center is great with our dd and doesnt question our decision to not vax. I wouldnt say she's anti-vax but she respects our wishes. Thankfully derry medical center has offices in windham, londonderry, and derry and convenient hours. She is a breastfeeding advocate and as a family medicine D.O. (Rather than an MD) she has been fantastic with providing care that goes beyond prescribing a medicine! If she is busy and u see a nurse practitioner or another doc, i cant say that theyll be as understanding of your non-vax decision... But, just stick to ur guns. I like to say "we have done thorough research and have made an educated decision not to vaccinate. Vaccinating goes against our religious beliefs." And move on. It violates your civil rights to further question your religious beliefs. Plus, you're stating u did ur research.

Good luck
