Yes!

Sparkle:  Yay! for your one little bean, and happy to hear you like the new midwife.

AFM: I have been easily crying lately, my dd (8yo) has had a fever for 3-4 days now with no other symptoms and has my homeopath baffled. The sun is finally shining and we are stuck inside.  I am making some italian bread today because I am craving it so bad. (one of my comfort foods).   I wish I could get ahold of our hb mw to schedule a consult. She has been at births all week. I feel like I am bothering her with all the messages/emails I have been leaving but I don't want her to give my spot away. There aren't many mw's in this area without driving 1 1/2 to get to the other ones.

I've been so moody lately! We just had another sickness rip through the house (now its just a cold) but it was fevers and throwing up with one of my children, and the baby had a fever and was grumpy. Sore throats all around. Miserable!

So I have felt a little down in the dumps with all the sickness, added housework and home schooling and every thing else. Another one of our chickens became raccoon food this week also.

On the more positive side for three nights in a row I have been thinking of fresh, soft french bread and veggie dip. Mmmm. I am buying some today~ and I just drank all the broth in this Annie Chungs Hot & Sour soup I bought. The noodles tasted like soap to me so I passed on those.

We shall see how that broth reacts with my nettle/oatstraw/alfalfa/RRL tea. puke.gif

Sierra - Did you update on your appt and I missed it?

Moi? All went ok - back in couple of  weeks.Praying! So grateful for each day, but will feel a long tine before it feels real.

Sorry you've all been poorly, its hard, especially with homeschool. I just have my ds to homeschool, but sickness is tough.

Angel dd's b.day next week so bit emotional. Thinking of going to write her name in the sand at the beach.

Agh. I'm with y'all on the emotional junk! I keep crying! I cried twice at work today (not in front of anyone!) and ugh just sooo weepy!

Also about the veggie dip and bread- I want dill dip and rye bread now lol!

Also Sienna- I'm so sorry I overlooked about your angel baby's birthday. I hope you find a peaceful way to commemorate her!

She was 5.5 months, her whole little life was in the Nicu - she was so brave.

I follow carly marie's facebook page thanks for the link. We do try to celebrate and make it special for her, the day she was born was such a happy one.

Sorry to hear about your angel baby, Sienna.forever :( Wishing you strength!

I am introducing myself for the first time:

Alison, pregnant 7w3d with #2.

I have almost no symptoms with this pregnancy, whereas I had terrible m/s from 4w with my DD, which makes me think this is a boy (or stressing that something is wrong when I am having a bad moment). The only two things are sore nipples and that I have been ravenous. I can eat a ridiculous amount of food! But both can be related to the fact that I am still nursing DD (2yrs)!

Anyone else nursing a toddler? Mine loves to nurse and nurses so many times a day I don´t dare to count. It is the most stressful thing for me when I think about number two coming along. How am I going to nurse two? Or if not, how will I wean DD? Oh well, I am trying to just go with the flow...OM..... :-P

I havent been to the doctor/midwife yet, but I am thinking of scheduling an u/s for 2 weeks from now (long story), and it gets me really excited to think about being about to hear the heartbeat/see something in there! I hope everything is ok! I am just now loosening up a bit since the hunger and nipple soreness are getting so obvious that it must be something happening in there! :) Thanks for listening, looking forward to chatting with you all through the next months!

Thanks mamas! The consult and scan were so reassuring. I definitely feel like I've made the right choice with my MW. I am still feeling ridiculously tired and moody, hello crying over a sink full of dishes, but the constant nausea has eased up. I am looking forward to heading back to school next week and sharing my exciting news with my students. At this point, it would be awfully hard to hide if I wanted to. My belly is rather obvious. Not like I was rocking abs of steel before but I have a serious baby bump now.

Big hug.gifSienna. I hope you are able to do something special to honor your angel girl's memory. Wishing you much peace and comfort.

Welcome Allison!! I know it is hard not to stress but every pregnancy is different. I had almost no symptoms with my DD (really minor queasies off and on for a week and a half) but this time around have had morning sickness from before 5 weeks through this past week (9+ weeks). shrug.gif Could mean boy, could just be I'm older, who knows!

I am off to enjoy the sunshine here today!! coolshine.gif Bubbles, chalk and letting my feathered ladies out to frolic. Wishing you all a great weekend!!

hug.gif Sienna Hoping you have peace next week. What a beautiful remembrance (writing her name in sand).

We have been outside all day here in central NY the sun is shining cold but sunny which is definitely a boost in the mood department. DH and I had a heart to heart earlier which made me feel better about where we are and where we will be. I think I can get more excited now! He said he would help out more which is great!!

Maybe I will go to our local CD shop and buy some fluff to make me feel even better. ROTFLMAO.gif

Just splurged and bought myself a pregnancy pillow. I am already noticing that my body feels achy and needs some extra pillow support. It's a Boppy total body pillow. I saw it at the store while perusing the baby section (a fun not so guilty pleasure).  Writeonyogamama, I will let you know what I think tomorrow!! I've never had one before. With DD I just filled my entire queen sized bed with pillows surrounding myself, essentially kicking poor DH out of the bed many nights.
