escher--The garage sale was ok. We didn't get as much traffic as we anticipated. Not sure why. The weather was great. We advertised like we have in the past. Our neighbors and his parents were our biggest customers!
Sphinxy--I can't remember exactly when I started feeling movement. I felt flutters around 16 weeks or so, but I wasn't sure about the movements until several weeks later. Now there are times when he moves and I'm like, "Ow! What are you doing in there"? I knew having a baby sitting on my organs and moving around would be uncomfortable but I didn't anticipate that it could kind of hurt. Oh well. It still makes me happy. You might have an anterior placenta too and that would make it harder to feel. I second the try not to worry advice. I know it's hard at this point to not worry, but soon enough you will know for sure that everything is fine.
mrsandmrs--The second trimester is awesome! I felt beautiful and energetic and so happy. I'm glad you are enjoying it.
AFM-We had a busy weekend. We had our garage sale and got rid of some stuff. We have a few things to take to the thrift store. We put some things in storage we don't need at the moment. We bought knobs for the dresser DW refinished. We went to Ikea and got an armoire for the baby's room, and our friends helped us put that and the crib together. We got the whole crib together before we realized the first piece was backwards but we were able to fix it. I'm really grateful to our friends because we could not have done it all by ourselves. Afterwards, I started organizing the clothes we have by size so we could put them in the dresser and DW was talking to me as we were looking at everything and I started crying. It was one of those moments where it hit me that we're going to have a baby soon. It's going to be living in our house and with us 24-7 for years and years. It's hard to comprehend sometimes. Our lives will be so different. It's all good but still a little unbelievable.
DW is really happy right now because they finally found someone to replace her boss and she started on Friday and she's fantastic so DW is feeling much happier about her work situation. It makes me feel so much better to know that she's not stressed out and hating going to work. The baby has the hiccups right now. They're so funny. DW didn't really believe me when I told her he had hiccups until the nurse at the NST test confirmed it when he started hiccuping during the test. So cute!
