As soon as he came out, I was very clear that he had suffered a rare cord accident. He had it literally knotted around his neck twice and looped a total of six times. No one could even guess at the odds of something like that happening. We spent all evening holding him, having pictures taken and crying.
Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers! Knowing there were so many thinking of us during this difficult time helped us have the strength to go through it.

I just want to put another thanks out there to you all. I am so incredibly grateful for all the support that we are getting from all over. I'm amazed by how people are reaching out. Even people I may only know online or not have even interacted with before. Words are not adequate, but thank you is all I have.
