shanna-cat - I just started taking some calcium and magnesium supplement called "calm" (I think it's this one http://www.drugstore.com/natural-vitality-natural-calm-magnesium-plus-calcium-powder-original/qxp212517) my midwives recommended it for rls but turns out it also helps with constipation. For the heartburn they suggested not drinking when eating and to stop drinking a while before you plan to lay down for bed time. This has been working out for me to a certain degree so far (I can at least sleep now without waking up in discomfort). I'm guessing you've tried many things seeing as how you went through this before, but wanted to share in case no one had mentioned it before.
I'm grateful that the people in my life tend to discourage the junk food cravings by reminding me that I'll feel bad about it later. Though a few days ago someone dropped of a bag of flavored potato chips (which I would normally never eat) and I ate nearly all of them. I then got swollen hands with itchy palms.... so ya not a great experience.
