Decembers DDC is up already, and other chatty things - Page 2

25 weeks today! I more week to third tri!!!! Where the heck did the time go?! I have what we need for baby (99% from DD but did get 2 newborn diap covers) but need badly to organize... Right after I go through DD's clothes and box what is outgrown. Then purge my closet/dressers. Argh! I can't wait for the summer and hope this munchkin doesn't come early. DH is a teacher so he has July and August essentially off and I'll need a solid week of bossing him around (this goes here, that goes there) to be ready for baby lol

On a side note, I posted that my 2 year old just weaned ( greensad.gif ) and dropped naps ( greensad.gifgreensad.gif ) but she hasn't been acting overtired and sleeps 11-12 hours with one wakeup. Mama misses nursing but mama can get used to that!!!

Well, at least you'll get another little one to nurse shortly. :)

And yey for some extra sleep for you.

And with the heartburn indigestion thing. I saw someone mention ACV. And it reminded me that I started adding a bit of organic lemon juice in water a few times a day and that has helped some. It's kind of the same idea. I kinda make a lemon aid with a packet of stevia, but it doesn't really taste sweet, just maybe less tart? But, I like it anyway. Found 2 pack of big bottles of organic lemon juice at costco last week. New product at our costco. Hope they keep carrying it, but at least there are other places to check for it if they stop. Of course you can just use regular lemons. I just don't tend to keep fresh food very long, so avoid it in certain things.

My son weaned himself at 19 months, I was pregnant with my daughter and he must have not liked the changes and just stopped nursing. I was so sad about it. Then she was born and I unweaned him when my milk came it. So I sort of tandem nursed for awhile. Not very frequently, but for about a year after she was born he would ask to nurse when he was really sad.
Weaning my daughter was another story altogether, she screamed and hit me and called me stupid at night when I told her no. (She was 2.5 and it was hurting all the time) I'd take a gentle weaning over what I experienced any day of the week...
Maybe your newfound sleep is smoothing the edges a little bit?
