My 4 year old has a few cavities in his molars, and he is supposed to have one of them filled today. I started freaking out last night because I never thought about any possible side effects or reasons why the dentist should NOT give nitrous oxide to him prior to work. I have been so focused on no flouride, no amalgum fillings, and finding out ways to rebuild/remineralize his teeth that the whole "laughing gas" just slipped my mind!! Please help with links or any other information. The thought of it freaks me out! Thank you!!
(sorry for any spelling mistakes, I am typing really fast trying to get this info asap!)
