Mine have no PUL, they are just like a million layers of flannel (I think?!). Super soft and definitely not as hot as annoying plastic pads. If I could afford more, I would do them 100% after baby, but I have what I can afford and with the distraction of a new baby, I'll be doing good to do 50/50. That said, 50/50 is enough to keep the disposables from irritating me. :p Actually 50/50 is about what I want to shoot for in CDing too - just enough for some cost savings/eco-friendlyness/breaks for baby bum, but not enough to feel overwhelmed.
carmen, wow, what a crazy trip! Glad you're ok!!
leigh, I know it's pretty easy - I have PFs and covers and have done them from time to time. But I am really really bad at keeping up with just our regular laundry. I need to get myself on a daily laundry schedule before I can consider getting back into cloth diapering. But it's on my radar. I have a page bookmarked with instructions on stripping my diapers (they need it) and once I do that (probably later this month or early next month), I'm planning to go part-time cloth on my little man. :)
