Just for fun, I've been measuring to see how my hips change as pregnancy progresses and it is SHOCKING. I had no idea my body would change this much!
I decided to share since so many people early in pregnancy wonder about how their bodies might change.
(BTW, I am pear shaped, and by "healthy weight" I mean about 25 BMI, so still a little extra padding.)
2 years ago, Pre-pregnancy, ~20 lbs overweight: 42in
At beginning of pregnancy, ~healthy weight: 40in
End of first trimester, +8lbs: 43in
24wks, +25lbs: 46in
I hope that's not all just extra fat, but also baby-pushing room :)
