Reading this thread just gives me more things to crave while I am sitting at work!
jopeters, Greek salad sounds really good. I am sad that feta is a no-no now. Hmmm..along those same lines hummus, falafel, and tabouli all sound delicious!
missbrea, there is no way I could do the Whole30 diet right now (and really it would be hard for me to do anytime). Although many of my cravings involve meat, I also have been craving egg biscuits, brown rice, and my latest craving -- apple walnut spice muffins (?!?!) So far I have only been able to do the eggs and brown rice...but I am hoping over the weekend, i can do some baking.
lilykay- I checked out the perfect health diet. I can't imagine life without legumes -- lentils and beans of all sorts. Mmmm...lima beans....
I am just bad at diets. I did manage to give up sugar for Lent, and I definitely could tell the difference. AFTER this birthday weekend, I am going to try to go back to a no-sugar diet. I am a perfect candidate for gestational diabetes, and I managed to squeak by without getting it with DS...so this week I started reading up on prevention measures again.
But now I must ask -- Where can I find a yummy apple spice muffin right now?!? (Aaagh, living in a small town sucks sometimes.)
