I'm sure I have gained 5 lbs. I can't stop eating sugary, easy carbs- cereal, yogurt, toast with butter and cream cheese and jam...Its awful! I'm hungry every hour. I've been wanting fruit salad with cottage cheese for days- really good fruit salad with blueberries and fresh pineapple...I'm not feeling meat, and I made some egg salad today to try and make myself eat some protein, but it made me gag for hours.(I had, um, rye and cream cheese toast and cereal and a portugese popover, a decaf iced coffee with cream and sugar and a cup of tea...really healthy, Rose, really healthy!).

I'm having a hard time with protien, too. Luckily, my cravings the last few days haven't been for really terrible foods. Olives, pickles, sweet and white potatoes. Maybe not in healthy quantities... But not too bad.

I ate Taco Bell the other day and it was great, but satisfied that craving.

The only other thing that I haven't given in to yet is a fantasy of a rediculously huge bowl of baked spaghetti. In pretty sure I'd feel horrible afterwards. It just LOOKS so good in my mind's eye.

I had already gained ten pounds at my first appointment. :\ My doctor was shocked! I'm pretty sure it's gotta be water weight or something, because even though I'm having a ton of cravings, I can never eat more than a couple bites. Every time we eat out lately, the waiters will ask if something was wrong with my food, because I barely touch it. And then, not all of what I do eat stays down!

Last few days it's been a rhubarb obsession!! 

 

I usually like it perfectly sour and plain, but for the first time in my life - give it to me with LOADS OF SUGAR.  Like - rolled in it!  Been treating it like candy (has MORE white sugar than candy!) so I've only had two stalks - but I don't think I'll make it through tomorrow without having some!

 

The other thing I've had to have this week is cucumbers with sour cream, dill, and salt. Mmmmmmm....!

Mint sounds good now. Bought some mint Ben and Jerry's atty the grocery store this morning.Chocolate chip cookies sound good too. I wonder if I could make a really small batch so if I eat them all it won't be too horrible.

Now it has also become chocolate cream cheese spread (the new one that just came out!) on toast, and watermelon. Still wanting dill pickle chips much of the time, too.

No one else is craving anything anymore? My newest craving is a soft pretzel from the Amish Market. The problem is it is only open twice a week and is 25 min away. They are a million times better than mall pretzels. I may go on Saturday with all 3 kids (dh has guy plans) just for a pretzel.

I really want brown sugar pop tarts right now. Which is a problem b/c they have gelatin and I'm vegetarian. UGH.

I crave something different pretty much every day right now. Most of the time I'm able to get it. Sometimes... sometimes I crave things that I don't really even like! Like the other day I was craving stewed beef in gravy. Not my favorite thing at all, but I really wanted it! And yesterday I wanted vienna sausages, but at the same time I felt strongly that if I ate them, I'd get sick.

michelleepotter, I do the saaaaaame thing. I have been craving deep dish pizza all week, but every single time I eat anything with that much cheese I get so sick. I still really want that darn pizza.
