This is a bit of a spin-off.
Do you think:
a) The CDC lies (any evidence? This is not necessary, just curious)
b) the CDC does not lie, it just cherry picks from data to promote the ideas they want promoted.
I tend to favour B, but it could be A - I just don't know.
I tend to think they are a good source, but they are clearly biased. I think they probably choose data that underplays vaccine reactions, and overplay VAD risks. I use them more as starting off points than anything else. I do think CDc is great to use with pro-vaxxers, as they will rarely question it, and I think the Pink Book is good to suggest to those new to research - a lot of the parent stuff on CDC is watered down crap, but the pink book does give a decent overview.
