So, I don't know if this is an original idea...but I've never heard of it before.
I made a sunless tanning cream by mixing very strong brewed black tea with a facial moisturizing lotion.
I brewed 3 tea bags in about a 1/3c of water. after brewing it for about 10mins, I took out the bags and boiled the tea to get more water out of it. When I had about 1T left, I let it cool and then mixed it with 1/4c lotion.
It doesn't cover any blemishes like a foundation does, but it did give me quite a bit of a summer glow. I'm not sure if the color would be right for all complexions...I'm brunette and quite fair and it worked for me.
Can anyone else think of another ingredient/herb/spice that could be used to get a slightly different shade of brown?
