QOTD: I like the power of freezing time, Leigh! I just keep losing track of my day and not getting what I would like accomplished, then suddenly it is 7pm and I haven't even thought about starting dinner. We've been eating a lot of improvised meals, or eating at 9 pm. Ugh!

Sorry I've been MIA lately. I've been chasing after a busy toddler, and have NOT gotten any energy back in the 2nd trimester. In fact, I feel just as tired now as I did in the first trimester, if not worse some days. I wanted to update you on my U/S last week. Everything went really well! The baby was measuring pretty much right on track (two days behind), and all the major organs looked great, heart rate was great (142), all the fingers and toes were there, etc. We are feeling so blessed and so lucky. I do have an anterior placenta, which concerned me (because I want so badly to have a VBAC), but the good news, is that the placenta is attached above my c-section scar, and will only continue to move up as the pregnancy progresses. This means that I am still a good candidate for a VBAC! We chose not to find out the gender. I'm about 22.5 weeks today, and feeling more and more hopeful every day, that we'll meet our healthy little one this August or September.
I hope all of you have been doing well, and that I didn't miss much?? Are pregnancies still going well for all of you?
Glad I'm not the only one! It's my only real complaint, really, otherwise I just keep getting bigger. :)
Good to hear your ultrasound went well!
Graysmama - that is wonderful news! I tire easily too, it is not easy chasing a toddler as it is, let alone big and pregnant.
Oy, it's been a rough week. DH has been out of town for work. He works long hours so I didn't think we would be affected that much by it but I am at the end of my rope. Luckily he gets home in a matter of hours.
I am also furious with amazon.com right now. I ordered presents for DD1s birthday, paid through the nose for expedited shipping and they STILL aren't here (and her birthday was yesterday!) We had other things for her but these were the big ones. One of them just left Illinois yesterday, ridiculous! And now it is looking like it is going to rain for her party tomorrow which was supposed to be at the park. Sorry to vent...
Thanks for the support and congrats, ladies!
GISDiva- I hope we can both get some energy back soon!
Banana731- Hard to say whether it's a girl or boy I guess. The heart rate was in the 170's and 160's at every previous visit, but dropped to the 140's this month. I think it's pretty typical for the HR to drop as the baby gets older. It's fun to guess though :)
CrunchyMama19 - Does her heart rate fluctuate much between visits?
