I don't want my DD to grow up thinking that the most valuable thing she has is her looks. I'd rather her place her mind and personality as a higher priority than her appearance.

I never thought of this but it is so true and if it does have to do with personality it almost always seems negative...I saw a FB pic with a girl in her PJs that said "Glazed and Confused" with a donut and candy all over it. Her brother's PJs said "Beary Sleepy" with a cool bear.

I always buy cool shirts with fun stuff on them for my son. I hardly ever did for my daughter.

Ultrasound today at 19 weeks reveals probably girl!  In two weeks I have my anatomy scan and it will be confirmed then.

 

I'm so happy!

Yay Serafina! 19 weeks is a good time to really be able to see the sex. So excited for you!
