I know I've shared these before at various times, but I thought I'd start a thread for all of us to share photos of us wearing our children.

Here is a page of mine: http://homepage.mac.com/amywilloughby/PhotoAlbum5.html I have more to add, but these are from 1999 through 2003.

Melaniewb how much does your dd weigh. I love that aloha hotsling but my ds weighs 30lbs and I'm thinking it would be too much for any length of time. Great pics mamas.

He's 25 lbs. I can easily wear him in the hotsling for 30 minutes without strain, but I haven't tried much longer than that.

MELANIE! I LOOOOOVE your guy's hair!!! What a dolly. Give him a squish for me. I have two strawberry blondies.

Thanks for posting all the pics, mamas. I really need to get some taken, too. : Bad mama.

Here's one of Noah and hisPop and one with is Mama in our XL Kangaroo Korner Fleece pouch. I wear it on the smallest snap setting & DH wears it on the largest. These were taken in December when Noah was about 2mo.

Now he likes to stand in it in a sort of hip carry

5mo

i think i'm cheating by posting here...
but i'm excited so i'll go ahead and post anyway!

dh and i are expecting our first in june and our only baby purchase so far is the "sling baby" from walking rock farms.

so this picture is of dh who was so excited when it arrived he put it on first thing and borrowed the "green monster" from deek, one of our dogs.

(ummmm, yeah, as you can tell i'm still a bit shy of posting pics here, but you can see the sling and its occupant!)

Very cute photos! Those slings are great--wow, you made them yourself? I've never tried it, but yours look wonderful!

Great photo, Sara, I love it! She looks so cozy in that sling--makes me wish I had one! And I can see the healthy food you are eating and the vitamins in the background-such detail! :LOL

Cool, now I wish I had the red Moby instead of the lavender one! I'll have to get a photo of my Moby--maybe you can give me some wearing tips.

Great photos, Melanie! He looks so cozy in both the KK and the hotsling. You look pretty comfy yourself. Do you like both of them?

Flitters, that is so funny that your dh used the dog's monster. I think I tried my first sling with a doll, and it didn't work very well so I hoped it would work better with a real baby. Turns out it took some getting used to with the real baby too, but I finally got the hang of it. Looks like you are ahead of the game already. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Hey, Wemoon, looks like your baby isn't quite a baby anymore. He looks great in that sling! He is a good looking boy. What kind is it? I probably know, but I can't keep them all straight. He sure looks comfy. I've made my husband take photos of me with my babies in the sling, and he always rolls his eyes and acts like I'm ridiculous for wanting that, but you know, no one ever takes photos of me interacting with the kids.

Donna, that is wonderful that you can both wear the same sling and it is so adjustable. I saw one of those at the LLL conference I attended last week, and I didn't realize they were adjustable like that. My daughter, Jessie, will stand in the sling like that too. Eventually she collapses her knees and becomes my little bundle again.

Amy, nope he isn't a baby anymore! I haven't been able to wear him for a few months now cause all I have is a ring sling. I just made that carrier, called an Asian Baby Carrier (ABC) but I still don't know if I can carry him for long...my body just can't take it!
