Nesting - Page 2

I wish I was feeling that! I have a bunch of little projects I'd love to accomplish, but I can't even seem to keep up with the regular cleaning still. Ugh.

Good for all of you getting things done, though!

Just cleaned out my closet and our huge bathroom closet yesterday. Today I rotated the winter clothes out of the kids draws/closet and they tried on all the hand me down summer clothes. Then we cleaned their room and the rest of their closet out! smile.gif I'm happy and surly nesting!!!!

Today I went a little mad sweeping, and cleaning up under the appliances on the counter and the fronts of the cupboards. Maybe nesting... or it could be because I saw some ants. lol.gif I hate those darn things!

I had the urge to touch up paint around the house. Puttyed some holes and painted marks on the walls. Tomorrow I'm going through 4 years of dd's clothes that have been in the garage and will save some, puts some aside for a friend and sell the rest at our yard sale this weekend. I want to clean light fixtures and have DH move furniture so I can vacuum under everything.

ugh, bromache, I hate ants too!

It is looking like we don't have other plans for Memorial Day weekend and I'm excited to get some real nesting done! Find some fabric for crib bedding, get and try paint samples, and move the bookcase out of the baby's room and into our bedroom.

I really wish I could get ahead verses just trying to keep up with the mess everywhere!! The yard is growing so darn fast and I don't have the stamina to keep up with it like I usually try to do. Our garden is full of weeds and I really want something planted thins year greensad.gif wonder if it will happen ....

Got bit by the nesting bug yesterday and cleaned out my kitchen cupboards. I get bitten every few weeks and it's always a bunch of random project! Nothing baby related yet!

We have been nesting like crazy - doing home renovations, tearing down walls, getting rid of stuff, organizing. It has been a really busy time!

My motivation is still going strong, although not quite as much as it was. On the positive side, my motivation to draw is coming back! I'm a botanical illustrator and have not been in the right frame of mind to draw in over a year. So hopefully it sticks for a while.

Well, I haven't been because still don't know where I'll be living when the baby comes.  Our lease is up July 31st and their selling this house we're renting.  We're building an earthen house but I doubt it will be done by then (but maybe when the baby arrives).  We have had offers from relatives to stay with but I don't know who we'll pick yet.   So much to think about.  I will be packing soon though, is that nesting?!  Ha!

wow that sounds stressful! on the other hand, i just looked up what an earthen house is and now i'm dying to learn more!!!

we just moved so i can totally relate to the stress that comes with moving when your whole body mind & soul want to nest. we've just completed our move last weekend, and are now living in our new house and in chaos. i'm taking it slow during the week, storing away one box / bag at a time. my ferret got sick last week too and now needs to be taken care of. fortunately DF basically works from home, but he's feeling overwhelmed with all the stuff that needs to be done right now. our plants are suffering from the move as well, and i'm not sure if they're all going to make it. yesterday i was at the office wishing i could be home and take care of all those creatures in need!

i'm so looking forward to memorial weekend. i had originally wanted to go away for the weekend, babymoon-style, but now i'm so glad we'll be staying at home. i'm planning a light exploration hike in our new area, potting plants and nursing them back to health, spending a lot of time with our pets, esp. my sick ferret, and making some serious progress on our box situation here. i also want to put the bed back together.
