So I really need to figure out a better breakfast for the mornings before work. For a long while now I have been eating oatmeal with wheat germ and flax seed added. I also add either pecans or soynut butter. But since I have been knocked up, this is just not cutting it. Plus, I think it is too many carbs in the morning. It has plenty of protein, but just too many carbs too.
Today my co-worker got me a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit from Burger King (*blush*) - and it was perfect! My body felt so good and happy after eating it. So I got to find something like that, but healthier. I was thinking about making a spinach and ham quiche, but then I am wondering if eating eggs every morning is a good idea. And we are just not in the habit of buying meat. But yes, ham for breakfast sounds awesome to me right now!
