Appointments: scheduled anatomy scan for 5/16 @ 5:30pm was hoping for an appt on the 13th but my clinic isn't available that day boohoo. Must remember to book another appt with my midwife.
Symptoms: Still pretty Intense tiredness, really need to get on top of my b12 levels. And clicky hips from over doing it again today.
Food aversions/cravings: aversion to bacon lately, usually I'm pretty keen on it but the smell is off putting now. Craving: nothing in particular that comes to mind. Most often is lime water.
Exercise: Other than racing around after the boys I haven't really done much lately because of how often I just want to curl up and sleep.
Body changes and other milestones: I now only have two pairs of pants suitable for leaving the house in. Both jeans. My belly feels like it has grown heaps in the last two weeks. I feel very pregnant no. Oh and jee whittakers (.)(.) are like HELLO! from being able to wear a b cup bra while feeding my youngest to now falling out of a d I'm a little concerned they are going to be huge by the time this bub is ready to arrive.
Thoughts: I am trying to stay connected and grounded, listening to my body and spending time each day talking and bonding its baby as I know he or she is now able to hear my voice.
Enjoying the school holidays here at the moment, wondering if homeschooling might be better suited for our family after all. Did something incredibly silly today which I am ashamed of, I was asked to let a delivery in at my mother in law's, she is having her bathroom renovated and the vanity was arriving today, no problem I thought, let the guy in and then leave. Not so simple the guy arrives he'd driven 2.5hrs to get here and was about 65 comes to the door and asks if I can give him a hand lifting the vanity...... I explain that no I'm pregnant and won't be able to help. He then says he can't lift it himself its too heavy and awkward, I head to the neighbours and nobody is home and feeling really stuck I then proceed to say I will help if I can, which I did, what a ridiculously dumb Idea that was. It was so heavy definitely something two strong men could lift but an old man and a pregnant woman no way. After it was done and we were home again I had some pretty intense pain and ended up getting my mother in law to check on baby to make sure it was ok. Thankfully yes bub is fine but I have certainly learnt my lesson. I feel terrible I put the baby at risk while trying to essentially do a good deed by helping out.
