All the many symptoms! - Page 6
Varicose veins!! I started wearing a knee high support hose yesterday. Just on my left leg. I got them on my shin in my second pregnancy, and the blue designs just keep coming with each baby. When I'm not pregnant, they fade a lot and don't ever bother me, but now they are achey. : ( This is my ONLY negative symptom, so I guess I should be grateful. But they're so ugly, and I have some that bubble up my inner thigh and all the way to my labia.
By the end of the day, my hips/lower back/tailbone ache. Fortunately, pelvic tilts, hamstring and lower back stretches, and the child's pose seem to help.
Last night I woke up to the worst leg cramp. OUCH! I definitely freaked out a bit...b/c it wouldn't go away when DH started to rub it like it has in the past (I have had 3 or 4 leg cramps my whole life...only during pregnancy!) Fortunately, DH suggested I stand up and walk and that worked well enough to get the spasm to go away. But the rest of the night it felt like it might spasm again at any minute. I was afraid to move my foot or leg. And now my calf is still sore!
Time to stretch my calves more!
Hi. Lidamama, I hope the pain has gone away by now! Sounds like sciatica. How are you doing?
As for me, the past two days I have experienced a lot of painful bloating, but I haven't been gassy. (???) There is not enough room in this belly for anything extra! I do hope this is temporary.
I've been feeling super bloated but not gassy the last few days too. My belly just feels like it's stretched to the max capacity, even though I know it'll get much bigger!
The last couple of days I'm feeling SO pregnant! I'm so full, have no appetite or room for food, am moving slower, feel the pressure in my whole pelvis, have that weird sensation/pain around my bra line, and now when I bend over I feel like I'm pushing the baby into my cervix- ugh! And that's a verbal "ugh" as I've been sighing and groaning when I get up or down, or bend over. Oh boy. It's at this point in pregnancy I can't believe I have to grow another 3+ months!
I ate a bacon/carmelized onion/fontina cheese omelette about 1:00 today and have burping ever since! But it was worth it.
I know! I should've said I was due in January. Why don't I ever learn that lesson?!
I have big babies- my smallest was a week early and 8-10 (my daughter) and my boys were 10-4, 9-7, 10-12, and 10-8. So I start getting asked if I'm due soon or told that I'm almost there by about 34 weeks.
I'm getting the opposite...Strangers are starting to say "oh any day now, huh?" and I always get a kick from their surprised/sympathetic facial expression when I tell them I still have almost 3 months to go.
I'm in the huge boat! It seems like over a 2-3 day period a few weeks ago baby doubled in size and I've just felt gigantic ever since. I only work 3 days a weeks and everyone at work said I definitely got bigger and "obvious" pregnant (up til 24 weeks I was still having guests who were surprised I was pregnant!) The Next 3 months are going to be long.
It's the same for me. This is my first and up until 26ish weeks I pretty much just looked thicker than usual (I'm already plus-sized). I kept wanting to take a picture for the baby bump threads but the pictures wouldn't have shown anything obvious. It felt like overnight I gained a decidedly pregnant shape. I also lost a lot of maneuverability! Getting up out of bed is a project requiring certain amount of prior planning now.
. I was not in a rush to have the baby with DD but nowadays I find myself checking the calendar often to see how many days I have left. Being pregnant with a toddler is a whole different monster.
