Hi girls! I know there were quite a few of us in this DDC who had twins, and Im wondering about you guys! My girls were born early (Jan 4), so they are a bit older than yours, but we've adjusted their age.
They are still getting some formula, mainly for my sanity's sake, and because I have had to help DH run our business which takes up a lot of my time. Also, the formula has really helped me spend some time with DD. Neither of them will take a paci,
We are using cloth, and it's going great. It's really not any harder than it was with one baby.
Both girls are saying ah-goo, moving all around, enjoying tummy time, sitting in bumbo seats (recommended by their ped because of low muscle tone), giggling, squealing, and wanting to hold a rattle. They arent really reaching out for stuff, or blowing raspberries, or any of the things that DD was doing at this age (even adjusted), so to me it seems that they are behind, but I know all kids are different (except, they arent different from each other).
They were di-di, but they look almost exactly alike. As in, I still cant tell them apart by just looking at them. Some examination has to take place. So, I think we are going to do the zygosity test as soon as we have a spare $100 to spend.
My big girl is not getting a fair shake. I just cant do it all. I try to spend time with her every day, but lately she's been begging me for time alone. She'll say, "lets just leave the sisters here," or "mom, put her down." She loves them, but she wants more one on one time.
The sleep miracle: These girls go to bed at 8:30, in a halo swaddle wrap and in their own cribs, and they stay there until 5:30 am- waking one time at about 1:45 to eat. It is the only way that Im still a human being and not just a puddle of mommy on the floor.
Anyway, that's all I have time for now!
