Started feeling BH contractions this week. About four weeks earlier than last pregnancy. Joy.

Yeah. Not fun.

Where are your funduses, ladies? Mine is maybe an inch below my belly button.

I have been contracting as well. My last 2 babies I had an irritable uterus. With #3, it started at 15 weeks, ctx every 5-10 mins for the ENTIRE pregnancy. Reeeaallly hoping to be spared that this time around! Though I already have to make sure keep super hydrated and rest a lot.

Oh! Yesterday my husband patted my belly and said he was saying hi to his little strawberry! I was totally shocked! Him! Touching my BELLY? Wow!

I've got a UTI too. :/ My new midwife has been out of town, so I'm calling her today for an ABX script. It's been a week already! Ugh. I did D-Mannose and Cranberry too, but it's not cutting it. I think I've gotten a really tough UTI each pregnancy so far. Wish I had remembered and just started taking cranberry just in case! And after the ABX I usually get a yeast infection, which is equally as awesome. *sigh*

My morning sickness has totally amped up and it SUCKS. I just want to die today. We just threw my DD#1's 4th birthday party yesterday though so my house is a disaster and needs major cleaning so of course, laying on the couch in agony isn't an option. Bleh.

Sorry I have been out for a while, and so totally far behind on the conversation. I am at work, so can't write too much.  Owlhowl, glad to hear DH is giving the belly some love!   I am lucky because DH likes to rub the belly and is willing to talk pregnancy stuff a bit. He is super sympathetic about my aches, pains and exhaustion.  We do butt heads sometimes when it comes to the details of labor and delivery.  We have different perspectives on why I ended up with a cesarean last time around. I think it was "failure to wait," along with bad hospital policies that slowed my labor. He thinks the OB knew what was best.  To be honest, only the Heavens know the truth.  Fortunately, DH is trying really hard to be very supportive a VBAC even though he has some major reservations about it.

KaliShanti, I started feeling something like Braxton Hicks starting a couple weeks ago, but i just couldn't believe I would feel them this early. After reading your post, I did some quick searching and while some sites say they start in 2nd trimester, others say they start as early as 6 wks.

I have another appt. scheduled with my CNM this Friday. They squeezed me in last time, so this will be the full OB write-up.  Hoping to hear heartbeat on doplar this time around.

I am just thankful that whatever I was feeling on Friday finally went away. I think super-hydration and lots of extra sleep helped. Feeling whipped today, spent 1.5 hours outside sup'rvising kids playing games. Thankful I didn't get sunburned.

Had my first prenatal with my midwife today. It went great. She drew blood, we chatted, and we heard baby's heartbeat! Easy to find and loud at 165. High, too, Not down in my pelvis at all. I'm measuring a bit ahead I'm guessing, since, at 10 weeks my fundus is at least four or five finger widths above my pubic bone (should be about level with the bone). In the morning, before my bladder is empty, it's almost to my umbilicus. Crazy! Only heard one heartbeat, lol. Anyway, I love my midwife, she does home visits, which are so great for me since I have three young kids!

Totally normal to be ahead of normal fundal heights having had a few kids already...seems like it gets back on par with the textbook expectations around 20 weeks.  I'm not even 9 weeks yet and I can feel my fundus a couple of fingerbreadths above my pubic bone.

Own howl, hope all goes well! smile.gif

I am having pain on my right side today. I've been very active today, and it just started after I stopped doing stuff. It feels ki da crampy and achy. Thoughts?

Thinking of you owlhowl!  KaliShanti, it is probably from being so active. I would just take it easy the rest of the day-if possible. I have also been extra achy/crampy today in my girlie parts and upper thighs. I am hoping it is just my body adjusting to the extra activity now that I am feeling a bit better.
