These first few weeks are so strange, aren't they? Knowing you are pregnant, but not feeling it. It's only been two years, but I really can't remember when I started feeling sick. Anyone have favorite natural remedies for it?
When do you start feeling pregnant?
I don't remember when it starts either. I know my boobs felt weird the first time around, but I was nursing the second time and I'm still nursing this time too. With my second, I didn't find out I was pregnant until 14 weeks but I had symptoms before that (I thought it was the flu!) so sometime between now and 14 weeks we should be feeling something... :p
As for morning sickness... Ugh. I'm not looking forward to that. I'm hoping that this will be the pregnancy that I don't throw up every day all 9+ months! :/
This is my 6th pregnancy between 3 babies and two miscarriages, and I'm not sure I actually feel pregnant (or can believe it) until sometime in the 2nd trimester. I've been fortunate enough to not have morning sickness with any of my pregnancies (6 weeks in and fingers crossed it stays away this time too!) and my boobs only really hurt with my first one. They're a little sore this time, but nothing much. They usually hurt more before af than they do now. The only real "symptom" I'd say I'm having is exhaustion. I'm so sleepy all the time and ready for bed by 7 pm!
It's a relief to hear some of you aren't experiencing sore boobs, and that nursing or it not being a first pregnancy that might have something to do with it. I got them with DD but not with my m/c a few months ago so have been worried. But I'm nursing my 22 m.o. still so maybe that's why?
I have no symptoms either, other than a heavy/full feeling in my womb similar to my first day of AF. But this too comes and goes, which adds to my worrying. Basically I am analyzing everything and worrying about everything and I just need to sit down!!
LLtheTinkerbell--I totally feel you! I also am still nursing my 2.5 year old, and had a m/c in January, and I am not experiencing many symptoms at all--I am feeling like a major worry wart! For the past couple of weeks my legs have really been hurting and stinging, and I am using Floradix and taking a prenatal vitamin, so my body must just be starving for iron. Besides that, I am having some weird "hot flashes" but no morning sickness at all, which concerns me. Occasionally I'll feel a little tremor in the womb, but otherwise, I feel great. I am hoping it is just too early to tell. Keeping my fingers crossed!
This is the pregnancy of positivity and of intuition! Not analyzing! Yay!
Reneekangaroo I think zen positivity is a great idea, and I'm going to work on it too. That said somehow I think part of me thrives on worry - like I have to cling onto *something*!
As everyone probably knows it's supposed to double (generally) every 2 days. it was at 510 2 days ago and today: 1737!!!!!! WOOT WOOOOOOT!!! I actually did the pepper grinder just now when I saw the results!!
Reneekangaroo, I'm trying to be a positive crazy person too hahah!!
With my first pregnancy, my boobs hurt like CRAZY but I was still convinced I wasn't pregnant because I was afraid to get my hopes up after two years of wanting and waiting. But yeah sore for weeks!!
This time I'm still nursing and my boobs were super sore for 3 days and got better. Now they're feeling pretty good.
I never threw up my first pregnancy and hoping that stays true this time. But I did get waves of nausea and would gag or have to fight that gagging feeling. That has already been happening. That is why I thought I was pregnant actually. After I got waves of nausea wash over me because of: my son's breath when I kissed him, my husband's breath when I kissed him, my son's dirty diaper, and looking at tomatoes at the grocery store, I said yep I am pregnant.
Yesterday we went to the cupcake shop for a free cupcake and that lovely smell that fills the place made me feel so sick. So sad!
It just pops up though. It's not all the time.
I keep feeling twinges and cramps especially after nursing. But I keep reminding myself my uterus is growing so it's ok. And it's not very painful, sometimes just small aches but usually no pain.
Oh and my boobs are already bulging out of my bra. Like no kidding, I literally need to go buy new bras today in a larger cup size. That is kind of freaky!! How big are they going to get this time?! Last time I went from a D to an E. But that was toward the middle of the pregnancy. I since went back down to a D. I'm only a few weeks in and probably need an E right now!! :-o
I knew pretty early, I keep track of my period and put it all together when my boobs hurt but nothing else was happening lol. I've also been exhausted and I'm starting to feel slightly sick .. all day. That's new this time around. I have to say the sensitivity to smell and feeling sick all the time is wearing on me lol. It hasn't even been very long! I also feel heavy, I feel like I can feel this baby but that might just be in my head. :)
I started feeling pregnant pretty much the day after I got a positive. My breasts aren't sore (thank goodness! since I'm still nursing a very active almost 2.5 year old) I have been exhausted and really nauseous and vomiting. I had weird body aches and chills and I honestly thought that I was coming down with a BAD flu, though nothing materialized.
Reneekangaroo- I just put in a vitamin order and I got one of those bands too. I'm glad to hear that they work! I've been on 400 mg of progesterone so a lot of the side effects mimic pregnancy. I've had sore boobs for ever but now my nips are soooooo sensitive. While toweling off after last nights shower I pulled the towel across them and My latest symptoms are a few waves of nausea the last couple days and some dizziness. I'm kinda just waiting to get sick . I'm just about 5 weeks now.
