Good luck mngreyday! I know how hard it is to wait past that 42 week mark! It won't be much longer now...hang in there!

DS was born last night (thank you full moon)!! I was 42 weeks, 3 days. He was 9 lbs, 22 inches. Long early labor phase but less than 2 hours active labor. Beautiful water birth with baby born in the caul and a nuchal arm! We are in love!!

Thank you! And congrats to you!

A baby born in the caul is kind of a dream of mine! Born at home, in the caul, on a full moon and with a short labor... sounds just perfect!

Congrats dandelion and the other new mamas! I have been offline since going into labor Sunday the 19th. We welcomed baby boy (we were team green bt everyone expected a boy) on may 20 (41+5). He is precious and a nursing champ.

Big love and labor vibes to everyone still in the wait. May you have your babes in your arms soon and enjoy every loving minute.

Hugs and prayers!

 41 weeks today....

Bit depressed.....life is hard when your expecting something so huge everysingle day no matter how much you try to talk yourself out of the anticipation. And w/ my 4 other kids my patience is already gone. I am sick of uber cleaning my house every morning....

I am down. I know I should be thankful, I am but I am ready....my heart and soul are ready...

Alexander James was born on Sunday at 41+3 after a 9 hour labor <3 <3 <3

Officially 40 wks. Well, it's the first of my two EDDs- the other is on Sunday. But I'm calling 40! Eating my ripe pineapple this morning, sipping on some RRL/Nettle iced tea, swimming in the pond later, having some spicy food for lunch, and going to try (TRY!) to work some sex in sometime soon. We shall see!

Lily Joy was born on Tues. May 28 @ 10:43pm....an hr and fifteen min. shy of our anniversary date!
Short active labor, pushed for 15 min. It was an awesome 2HBA4C waterbirth!

Am I the only one still here? Lol ..

Baby didn't pick either of my EDDs- 5/31 or 6/2. So I am (going with the 6/2 EDD) officially a day "late".

I have my 40.5 week appt on Thursday. Midwife said she will talk about stripping at that point- as in consider offering it.

At 41.5 weeks I'll have to start the bio-physical ultrasounds. I'd like to avoid that- the extra trips and having to deal with the hospital.

I would rather not do any interventions, natural or not, beyond what I've been doing- walking, staying active, eating/drinking well, pineapple, spicy foods, sex.

I will only consider the stripping/black and blue cohosh and finally castor oil if I go near or beyond 41.5 weeks or if it looks like I "need" to for baby's sake.

But I'm really hoping for a spontaneous labor in the next week and a half or so. Fingers crossed!

I went at 41.5 and had my membranes swept at home by a ob nurse friend...labor started that night. Leona was born on 6/2

I hope you do not have to go that long, it was mentally draining!!!

Me, too! I had it done at 38 and 39 weeks w/ DD1, and along with castor oil cocktail, it jumpstarted labor.

Feeling some more serious contractions today, crossing my fingers!
