Oh joy... the things you forget...

I am sure of my dates, and that was confirmed by the u/s I had last week, but everything is happening so much earlier than with ds (which I know is normal with your second and subsequent children, but it's not reality until you are living it...).

Just wanted to see if anyone else out there is having any of the following symptoms already (and I wanted to kvetch, cause I'm shocked):

- I feel like I'm leaking all the time. I know it's not amniotic fluid, and it's my bladder playing tricks on me and normal pgcy discharge, but it's annoying and sometimes worrisome just because the thought runs through your head that it could be something not normal. This didn't start with ds until 18ish weeks.

- I haven't been comfortable walking for 2days because of the stretchy feeling and pressure really low. I don't remember this with ds until 17ish weeks.

- It's becoming increasingly difficult to hide the fact that I'm . I wasn't telling anyone else until Mother's Day, but none of my regular shirts hide it, they fit, but I show so high up (which is bowel distension, I know) that it's getting pretty obvious.

So, anyone else here got any of the above? I being , and I'm really not complaining, but just looking for signs that I'm normal I guess. At 11weeks, I feel kind of freakish being this big and I was actually waddling today due to the stretchy feeling...

hey, don't feel bad!! I look about 6 or 7 months along myself! lol

I'm also at 11 weeks, this is my eighth child, and yes, I have the "quicker"symtoms as well.

my shirts don't fit either (thank you, whoever on this board told me about the bowel distension thing; it really helps me make sense of this pre-belly belly thing), and i haven't been pregnant for 14 years! i'm at 10 and a half weeks or so. i had a couple of sneeze-and-pee occasions, so i'm kegeling like crazy (do you guys also do kegels involuntarily whenever anyone says kegel? kegel! kegel!) and haven't had much leaking since, although lots of discharge.

i don't remember the stretchy feeling down low with my first pregnancy at all, but i have had it a lot with this one--sort of a muscley, burny ache, right? some days i won't have it at all, and then some days i'll have it constantly. weird.

i'm really digging the whole pregnancy thing, though, i have to say. i'm looking forward to having a proper round baby-in-there sort of belly, but feeling like there's someone growing in there just gives me big joy. it's nice to all be in it together, too, huh?

Yes, it is Jennifer. I don't know what women did before the internet, as my Mom (as supportive as she is), is not much help with information or guidance. Thanks for reminding me about the kegels... I've been slacking off on those and must start again!
