Hugs to all of you for Mother's Day! Plus an extra one for all the leg cramps, BH, vertigo, sciatica, and tired mamas (I am hugging myself as well)!
Crafty, I know what you mean about wanting more than two but being unsure if you can endure another pregnancy. I was just thinking this last night before I fell asleep! My first pregnancy was a lot easier, but I was in really good shape (physically) when I got pregnant. I think some of my aches and pains now come with being out of shape. Also, I am just feeling OLD this go around! With DS, and last year when I was pregnant, I was a nanny in the mornings and worked in the evenings. This time it is just me and DS all day together and I feel worn out at the end of the day! I have always wanted 3+ children, but I also always thought I would start a lot earlier... So, last night I was getting a little down thinking that maybe two was it for us. But then I started talking myself into an exercise regime that would get me fit and healthy and ready to make babies again after this one is a little grown. Now I am thinking I might have been a little delusional from the hormones and sleep deprivation! I think I'll wait to see how the rest of this pregnancy, labor, delivery, and babyhood go before I make any lasting decisions, although I do like the idea of exercising more (minus the regime) just for the sake of being healthy.
I have this link: http://www.pregnology.com/faralong.php?month=8&day=01&year=2013 in my 'Bookmarks' for a quick reference as to How Pregnant Am I?, because I frequently forget too Banana. I feel like time is moving really quickly and I can't believe that I am only 15 weeks from my due date, but I also feel like I have been pregnant since the beginning of time and have a hard time remembering what it is like not to be getting up 4 times in the middle of the night to pee, and snacking on papaya enzymes, and bracing myself to bend down and pick up discarded socks, and...
Skycheat, I have been using molasses, flax seeds, and hemp hearts for extra doses of magnesium. I am really bad at remembering to take vitamins, so it is easier for me to supplement my food. I make a Weird Drink (that's what DS calls it) every day with 3 Tbsp each black strap molasses and ACV, tons of ice and water (like 1 cup to 1 quart, that part is just to your own taste). And since breakfast is our most consistent meal of the day, that is when I add the flax and hemp (on top of cereal/yogurt, in muffins, pancakes, oatmeal, grits). As far as sciatica... someone posted something along time ago about inversions. I try to do that everyday (but it is more like a couple of times a week right now) and that seems to help a lot. It feels like it is lengthening my spine and relieving my pelvis of the weight and strain. I haven't had too many debilitating sciatic aches since I started doing that! Although, it really kicks up the heart burn if I don't have an empty stomach... blegh.
Hugs again for all you mamas and mamas-to-be! Hope everyone has a good one!
