vaccination and gut flora

I've just been wondering about this, now that we are learning more and more about how important gut flora is for LOTS of things. Is anyone familiar with particular studies looking at the composition of gut flora before and after vaccination?.....human or animals.....after single vaccines or after a series of vaccines. I think this is such a promising area for research but have not heard anyone address this specifically.

I don't have anything, but I am equally curious. Especially since I have irritating digestive issues.

I would think the Rota vaccine would definitely have an impact on gut flora.

This is about the cholera vaccine:

I actually think that if a child had altered gut flora to begin with say from being a csection or having antibiotics as an infant, it will be more susceptible to vaccine damage, but I realize you are asking specifically if vaccines alter gut flora in a negative way.

'Children who are born with severely damaged gut flora are not only more susceptible to disease; they're also more susceptible to vaccine damage, which may help explain why some children develop symptoms of autism after receiving one or more childhood vaccinations. '

I found this article here very informative. It makes a lot of sense about the gut flora, method of delivery, and so on. Def. be looking into this topic some more.
