Coping with severe seasonal allergies?

Any of you ladies have severe, hay-fever type seasonal allergies? I have been trying so hard to not take anything, but I've been so miserable the past few days, I'm about to break down...

The neti pots do not work... As soon add my nasal passages are clear, they immediately get congested again... I could continuously blow my nose and the snot would never stop, honestly.

So now I'm doing some research on natural remedies-even SOME relief would help, as I'm sure nothing is going to rid me completely (I've dealt with this my whole life, just don't like taking over the counter meds while pregnant/breastfeeding).

Anyone have any experience in this, any suggestions?

I do. When my whole face started to swell, I started taking Claritin. It's a class B drug, and my allergies got debilitating and I couldn't find a more natural way to fuction. I also drink 2-3 c of Nettle tea with local raw honey, keep windows shut, and change clothes and wash hair after being outside. My worst symptoms are wheezing; watery, itchy eyes, and rashes on exposed skin.
