Parent-Infant Classes

Thread Starter

I've been thinking about signing up for the parent infant class at our local Waldorf School.  We've just started to add Waldorf elements to our home and would love to see "how" Waldorf works. But it is quite expensive, $140 a month for a weekly 2.5 hr class, and would be a stretch for my family's budget.  I would love to enroll but the cost is intimidating.  I would love to hear others experiences to help in my decision making process. smile.gif

Thanks

Hi Katie, where are you? Seems like a pricey class and I am a Waldorf teacher! Why don't you start by attending some festivals throughout the year. They are usually free and you can chat with other parents. You may also consider asking the office folks if you can sit in on a class to see if you like it. They will certainly oblige. You can also ask the school to give you a copy of their weekly newsletter and you may even feel brave enough to post a meet-up group in the newsletter at a local park! I promise you, they will gladly help out! Then you can spend time with other families and hear all about the programs and see if it's for you.

best of luck!
