8 week Healthy Weight Loss Challenge version 9.0 (enrolling through May 30, starts May 27) - Page 6
Well being pregnant has been kicking my butt the last couple weeks. I have been accessing mdc from my cell phone while laying down resting and haven't been able to get to the spreadsheet for weighins. I got to it tonight because I didn't want another week to go by.
You ladies are doing great. Summer is such a hard time with family events and vacations that always seem to revolve around food and not so much exercise. I am posting the spreadsheet to mark my place where I last ended entering weights.
ChristinaMac, if you are losing inches and feeling great, eventually the scale will show the change too. Keep up the hard work.
Amandamarie, I hope that the thyroid meds make a positive change for you as well as getting back into your regular exercise routine.
THANK YOU for posting the computed results in spite of your other commitments !!!
i haven't yet reached the lowest weoght i did reach at the end of the previous challenge ... but even if loosing fractions of pounds per week , i feel encouraged by your commitment to support us in our efforts ...
these days it's a never ending round of end of year happenings for each activity we try to do during the school year & of course, there's always food around !!!!
have been using a little psylium in half a yogurt twice a day, in an effort to feel fuller for a longer period of time and therefore keep my portion sizes reasonnable .....
am now wearing dresses since it suddently turned very warm over here (it might not last though) and am hoping it will help me not to stuff myself too !!!
Sorry didn't make it in yesterday...I am at 163.5, not much of a difference.
I have been running 3x a week and going to the gym 2x a week, I cut out wine in the evenings on weekdays and have started eating breakfast earlier in the day. Now that the garden is starting to produce, we are eating healthier.
Good luck ladies, keep up the exercise!
Go team Yellow!
Thanks IsaFrench. I want a group of people committed to losing when I get back to the point where I can lose and not gain after pregnancy and breastfeeding my twins. I know it will get better, eventually.
So I got the calculations of the percentage lost so far. The orange team is ahead so far. Keep working it ladies!
i had forgotten which colore team i was on.... good for the reminder
lately i have added a tablespoon of wheatbran and a tablespoon of oatbran in a watered beaten egg to make a kind of pancake breakfast = it helps keep me "regular" & i hope to see a bigger loss than a fraction of a pound by next Monday !!!
As of this morning, I've hit my first small goal of 165lbs!!! I've done much better with my diet this week, making sure I didn't let the grains sneak in too much. I was only able to get 2 of my runs in, but DH and I moved furniture on Saturday, which included moving 3 couches up and down a flight of stairs.
This is my pre-pregnancy weight for #5 and #6. Anything below 165lbs I haven't seen on the scales since before I got pregnant with #3 almost 6yrs ago!!
Hopefully I can maintain this loss
Me too! Isn't it frustrating?
I'm up a pound, to 155.4. I'm shooting for something in the 153 range next week, after this bloat subsides.
FillingMyQuiver you are kicking ass!!!!
Since I started the 30 day Shred work-out (I'm at day 5) I feel fitter and stronger! And since I started yoga (only 2 sessions in) I feel more flexible and peaceful! All that results in a happier mama filled with energy :)
Although I know it's a weight loss challenge, let's not beat 1ourselves up with the number on the scale and let's try to feel the change in and outside ourselves!
