Yeah, I'm keeping it low on the fruits now. I just can't figure out what the raw vegan gurus do... they claim "Oh look! You can eat this fruit, this fruit, this fruit, and this fruit allll day long" and they look fabulous. But if I were to do that, I gain weight like crazy.
IMO, although I am far from being a professional, weight gain from fruits is not the kind that stick to your ribs, for example. How do you feel? Do you feel fat and unhealthy or is the scale making you feel that way?
It might also be all the water in the fruits, which is not bad I think, but will show on the scale!
I'm sad to have gained a bit this week, but yesterday my husband said "hey, you're really starting to look fit." And some jeans that fit snuggly last week fit perfect today. Maybe I'm losing fat/inches and gaining muscle. I wish I had measured myself a few weeks ago! I've been exercising a lot...1000 minutes last month and aiming for 1300 minutes this month.I'm not even counting all of the yard work I'm doing as exercise. I just wish the scale would show that I am doing something!
MrsGale you definitely gained in muscles, which eventually leads to a weight loss! I'm there with you, when I started doing weights and busted my ass only to see that the scale didn't budge, I got disappointed. Now it's finally moving downward, but that 2 weeks or so that your muscles are replacing the fat feels like you are busting your ass for nothing. Not true! Be patient! And looking and feeling more fit is a reward in itself :) Jut learn to appreciate it!
