I had to do a food journal for three days. Luckily it was during a 3 day period where I was feeling really good and could eat lots of raw veggies..... so my diet was perfect. My diet IS perfect when I'm feeling good... but even at almost 19 weeks I still have days where it sounds better to list on protein shakes and smoothies all day because the thought of vegetables... fish... eggs... even fruit-- makes my stomach turn-- too much flavor and texture overload I think. My food log was so perfect .. it was like.. coconut milk yogurt + berries for breakfast, almonds for snack, big salad with quinoa for lunch, raisins and almonds for a snack, steamed vegetables with brown rice and salmon for dinner. Honestly that IS how I eat-- and how I ate before I got pregnant- I was really consistent and really good at just keeping a balanced diet. now... it's like i'm lucky if I eat a big colorful raw salad twice a week. I am sooooo hoping that the second trimester ease kicks in soon, I really need it. energy, balanced mood, returned appetite... still waiting!!
Anyone else having weird body symptoms??? This might sound weird but the other day I popped my boobs out of my shirt to show my husband how HUGE they were, and I squeezed them (not hard) and drops of liquid came out both of them and ran down my shirt!!! it was clear and cloudy and sticky-- like a lot of it. SO WEIRD. I am only 19 weeks- WHAT IS THIS?? Also when I lay in bed, my uterus sticks up out of my skin like some kind of alien tumor, I can clearly see the boundary of where it begins and ends- AGHGHGHHH! So crazy. My lips are also impossibly dry and cracking and my CHEST is breaking out... I have clogged pores on my cleavage. very attractive.
