If nothing else, get him taking the probiotics along with you, and applying coconut oil to the *ahem* affected area. When I have yeast issues on other areas of skin-like under my boobs-coconut oil applied once to twoce a day for a day or two usually knocks it right out. FWIW, I happened to read recently that psoriasis is actually sometimes yeast, so that might be something to look into as well.
Yes on the psoriosis note! I think he's got issues there and keeps throwing medication at it. He needs to clean up his diet with me and take better care of himself. I've been working on this for awhile with him. I'll have him try coconut oil bit I still think he should go see the doc. I wrote a message to them and explained. The first version was nasty. Luckily I came to my senses and didn't send it. I was so upset this was being ignored. He went in 3 months ago! I've really been suffering.
Serafina-- I agree. I think I will create a thread. We are probably switching from Kaiser. I can't believe I put up with them for this long!!!
In other news-- my DH had a surprising call from a job he very sadly was not hired for. It's for a company he used to work for but an awwesome location where could take a cheap metro transit train ride in. Traffic sucks in LA so this was a HUGE plus. He's in a nitche industry so was totally confused as to why they passed on giving him an offer. He would just really love to work there.
We were upset for weeks about it but I told him I had a feeling that they might call back. Just hoping really. Well-- THEY DID! He got a 3rd interview and now is about 90% sure he'll be hired. He totally nailed the interview according to the agency. Yay! Such great news for me.
I sure will miss him though. I've been able to get a lot done work-wise and able to rest WAY more then I could if he'd been working. It's going to also be scary to ask for time off just after starting a job when the baby comes so I'm preparing myself for the worst. But trying not to stress over something that might not happen.
I'm also almost sure I'll book a midwife for homebirth. I couldn't be happier about that!!!
